The International Human Rights Commission and the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation contributed to the Manusath Abhiman Social Care Program which was held on the 11th of March at Mallalla Pola Maha Vidyalaya in the Dehiowita Education Zone of Kegalle District.

According to Dr. chrishantha Dissanayake, Sri Lanka Commissioner of International Human Rights Commission and Founder/Chairman/Director General of Sri Hela Cultural Cooperation Foundation, veteran drug prevention and rehabilitation counselor , this social care program was organized by Mr. Priyadarshana Rodrigu, Social Services and Welfare Affairs Assistant Director of Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation,

A library was started for ke/Dehi/Mallallapola mahaa Vidyalaya and books worth one and a half lakh rupees were donated for it and in addition to that the equipment required for the building was also donated.

In addition to that, a conference on drug prevention as well as drama and performing arts, a conference on traditional Angampora martial art was held for the children and a very nutritious lunch was also provided for 386 children of the school.

Here, a Buddhist community charity was also performed for seven honorable monks to seek blessings for the education of all the children.

15 honorable people engaged in social care were evaluated and awarded and Dr. Krishantha Dissanayake, Sri Lanka Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission and founder of Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation, addressed the guests and children and explained the value of such social care like this , The International Human Rights Commission and the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation announced that they would provide maximum support to take this program to all the difficult schools throughout to sri Lanka .

For this occasion, the Sri Lankan Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission and the Founder/Chairman/Director General of Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation, Drug Prevention and Rehabilitation Veteran counselor Dr. Crishantha Dissanayake, the coordinators of the International Human Rights Commission and the directors of the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation, Mr. Damika Sisira Kumara, Mr. Hemantha Vitarana, as well as Isuru Salon owner Mr. Isuru , Mr. Priyadarshana Rudrigu, veteran Angampora martial arts Master Mr. Sumudu Amalka , Drama director Mr. Gayan Mahagalage, Mr. Wijesinha Malallapola and Mr. Prasanna Vidanapathira were present.

The teaching staff and parents of Mallallapola Maha Vidyalaya gave full support for this program.
