
The International Human Rights Commission , Shri Hela Higher Education Academy and the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation have been teaching free dance for children living in Sri Lanka for two years in several centers across Sri Lanka.
Thus, the certificates were distributed to the students of Weherahera Sanka Rhythmma art Institute of Pannala Divisional Secretariat of Kurunegala district who studied dance for two years on March 01, 2024 at Weherahera Sanka Rhythma Art Institute .
According to Dr. chrishantha Dissanayake, the Sri Lankan Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission and Founder /chairman /Director General of Shri hela cultural collaboration Foundation . veteran choreographers Mr. Amaradasa Dilankarachchi and Mr. Sadeva Amaradasa, who are the volunteer coordinators of the International Human Rights Commission as well as the directors of cultural affairs of the Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation. they were provide together free local dance lessons to the children for two years taught throughout.
In the same way, the children of Weherahera, Yakwila, Kongoda, Daraluwa, Hunuwila, Elabadagama, Yayamulla and Dampandiya villages who studied dance were given certificates regarding the correct study of the subject of local Dance.
The Commissioner of Sri Lanka Dr. Chrishantha Dissanayake asked the students to create sensitive people through art and they make the world beautiful, and as children who have studied the subject of dance, they should do the same.
For this occasion, Dr. Chrishantha Dissanayake, the Sri Lankan Commissioner of the International Human Rights Commission and Founder/ chairman/ Director General of Shri Hela Cultural Collaboration Foundation , Mr. Sadeva Amaradasa, Mr. Amaradasa Dilankarachchi, the coordinators of the International Human Rights Commission, the Secretary General of All christian rights protection organization , Rev. pastor susil rupasinha, Vice President of Srilankan youth Api Foundation, Mr. Shenal sanjana and Mr. Nisal Chinthaka, the teacher of Werahera primary Vidyalaya, was present.
